The use of song and singing is one of the greatest gifts a child can be given. Hearing, learning and singing songs about the gospel of Jesus Christ will bless children all their lives.
One need not necessarily be a good singer or musician to teach the gospel through song. Faith, prayer, and a willingness to learn are key. Always remember that the purpose of primary music is to sweetly teach the gospel, help the children feel the Holy Spirit and know they are loved. All games, devices, media, etc. should support this purpose and not detract from it.
