Christmas Music Program

The Coal Mountain Ga Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is starting the Christmas Season with music.

Sunday the 5th of December 6PM

Note: To attend in person, come sing in the choir or come with one of our featured performers. Live audience will be limited out of an abundance of caution.

*The entire stake is invited to watch and sing along at home with the Broadcast.

Free Workshop to help you get started on the organ or propel you forward from where you are. The following topics will be covered as well as special requests:

  • Pianist to Organ – Learn how to use your current piano skills on the organ keyboard.
  • Prelude Philosophy – Thinking about how music helps reverence, etc.
  • Your Turn on the Keyboard – Sit at the bench and try your hand
  • A Free Christmas Prelude
  • Learn About the ‘Organists’ Hymnal

5 Ways to Participate at the Music Festival “Carry On” Aug 14th

#1 Come. Enjoy the evening.

#2 Sing. Everyone will be invited to sing Hymn #255 “Carry On”. Also, All invited to sing this version of ‘Who’s On the Lord’s Side Who’. Just show up.

#3 Join the Ukulele Choir. Practice #1 Somewhere Over the Rainbow, #2 I Am a Child of God with YouTube tutorials . . . show up for a one time practice on Saturday August 7th at 10AM.

#4 Play a Fiddling Tune With Other Violinists. Tune #1 “Cripple Creek”. Listen to it here. More Music and 1 practice coming . . . Check back soon.
